Monday 12th March

Good afternoon everyone.
Sorry I'm late today, a long story but had to get my daughter checked out.. :-(
Back now though so here's your cards.

We start off with the Gothic tarot and The Knight of Pentacles.

"So long I have waited in these Halls of Darkness, ever vigil to my destiny.  Yet, here I shall stay, diligent to my tasks and wait for eternity to support my king."
So the Knight here is patient, he waits for his kings return.  he is there to support him no matter how long it may take.

Now this card is about being there for others and supporting them.  It doesn't matter how long it takes, just be there, be ready with an ear or a shoulder to lend them.

Be patient, the wheels are turning in the background, things are happening.  There is light at the end of the tunnel, and when you reach a cross roads, either way you will reach the end, no matter if you go left or right, just don't turn back.

********

The next card is from the Favole Tarot, we have the Devil.

So, this card is about what's is going on in the subordinated mind.  It's a card of fear, shock, being scared subordination, decay, selfishness temptations self destruction and lack of principles.
Now as I look at this card, we have our devil and his wolf beside him.  The wolf howling to the members of the pack.

When you look at this card, what is it that you fear?  is it being controlled by someone, being selfish or tempted by something or someone?

We all have fears, but instead of letting someone else control us and control those fears or use them against us, lets turn it round and use it to help build us back up.  We can change things around when this card shows up.

We all have worries and doubts about what it is we're doing, what we see, our work, our own image even.
We have a lack of principles either for ourselves, our work place or in family life.  Never let go of your beliefs, your principles for another.  Find a way to work with both sets.   Fear holds us back in whatever we do, use the fear to help fuel your passion.

**********

Our Fortune card today is The Gate.

The gate represents an unavoidable obstacle that stands between you and your goal.  The gate can only be opened with the correct key, but once unlocked, it leads to a desirable place.

As I look at these gates, I see them slowly opening up.  You've found the key, now you just need to open the gates, but remember good things come to those who wait.

So, remember if you like these cards at all, and would like a reading using these cards then please get in touch through Facebook, Twitter or the website Coyote's Realm

More from me tomorrow, so enjoy the rest of your day.

Sunday 11th March

Good morning everyone.

So, it's Sunday and our first card is the Chariot.

"Ancient and wise, a powerful and authoritative beast, a conqueror of spirits. It's strengths of discipline, determination and assertiveness are self-evident. Its fiery breath will vanquish all indecision."

So, when we're not sure about things, what do we need to do?
Call on the chariot and the dragon to burn away all those seeds of doubt which have been planted within your head.

Burn those ties, those bridges that no longer help you forward on your journey. It can be a difficult thing to do, but it is needed right now.
Dragons have a connection to the earth, call upon that connection upon your inner dragon.

You have to be assertive when dealing with anything, especially when it comes to saying no.
Direct your anger away from others, but use it to your advantage.

**********

Our next card, is the Heirophant.

In this deck it represents conformism and orthodoxy.
Key words with this deck are those of ceremonies, humilities, kindness, inspiration, alliance, servitude and inactivity.
We are always trying to conform with others around us, rather than allowing ourselves to be the person we want.  We have to break those bonds and move away from what others perceive to be the right pathway for us.  What is right for another is not always right for you.

Show kindness with others, give them hope and inspire them to also break their bonds and let them be free to be themselves.  Again, as I look at this card, the angel points the way in which to go.  Memories are unearthed and the bones of the past are now your way forward.  Looking to the past, looking for guidance from spirit is all well and good, but you have to be strong and do this on your own.

**********

Our fortune card for today is the Siren.
She represents enchantment and dangerous allure.  This bewitching water sprite embodies a mysterious and hypnotic influence.  A captivating stimulus may incite foolish risk.  Resist temptation, but remember to voice your desires.

Temptations are around today, be ready to refuse such things.  It is too easy to say yes, and we have to be strong and say no.
Listen to the song of the siren and you will fall into the trap.  Don't be fooled by whims and wiles, use your cunning.  Allow yourself to express yourself and the things you want, rather than hold them deep inside.

Don't forget if you do like these cards, and would like a full reading with them, then head on over to Coyote's Realm where you can purchase a reading using any of the decks above or on site, and also purchase your own Faulkner Tarot or Brian's Deck.

That's all for Sunday, so have a great day.

Saturday 10th March

Well, I'm back..... Sorry for no cards, computer went down... :-( but I have a new one now, so no problems.....

We have a lovely sunny Saturday here on the Wirral today.  So nice to have the sun out, the birds singing, and hopefully lots of smiling people. :-) So what's the weather like by you?

Anyway, back to our cards.

The heirophant is here today.

"I will impart the knowledge and rituals of the ancient ones, if you will but ask.  A keeper of the old ways, my teachings will guide and support you through all adversity."
Allow yourself to look back and see what it is you can learn from the past, that will help you with the what is to come.

If there is something you wish to know, maybe about your family tree, then the only way you can research it is by asking others to help you.  Though we are able to do things on our own, there are things that we do need help for.
We should never be afraid to ask for help and guidance along our journey in life.  It is how we learn and how we teach others.

Let your guides help you with the knowledge and guidance you seek at this time, they will take you to where it is you need to be.
Always remember, when the time is right the master will appear to the student.
**********

Our next card is the Emperor.  He represents self-control through intelligence.  He has the power, the confidence, wealth, stability and authority amongst many things.  He is a male influence in your life right now, one that watches over you, he helps to guide you to the right pathway.  He gives you the strength to help yourself when he can not.

Have the courage to go with what you feel.  You are being watched over, and the 2 cards combined being that there is a male watching over you.  He is in the realm of spirit right now, he sees you, watches you and wants to help you  along your way, but you must realise that he can not take that route for you, only you can.

We have to learn from his wisdom, take his guidance, strength and confidence and continue that way ourselves.  you will always have someone watching over you, even if you feel you haven't.

**********

Our last card is the Fortune card.

We have the green eyd 'monster' today.
Medusa represents envy and corruption of beauty.  This mythical being can also signify an act of jealousy, exile or harsh punishment.  Remember that excessive jealousy leads to downfall.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but that's because it's been looked after.

Don't let yourself be punished for something or don't even punish yourself for something others have done, or for the fact that you have lost something and they haven't.  It doesn't help you, and it doesn't help them.

If you have got someone who is jealous, or is acting like a snake in the grass, call them out... you call the shots not they.....

Right that's all for today folks, but if you'd like to see any o0ther cards here just let me know which ones, and I might also have another treat very soon and start using my new deck the Transparent Tarot, which I received yesterday.
Don't forget you can find me on Facebook, Twitter and also at Coyote's Realm Forum and you can contact me through the website which is Coyote's Realm if you would like a reading using any of these cards.

Have a lovely day, and have fun

Saturday 3rd March

Good afternoon everyone,

I would of loved a lie in today, but 6am I was woken up ;-) I love kids.... not a lot sometimes and especially not at 6am.... :-)

So I've included a fortune card today which ties in quite nicely with our other cards, so let me know what you think.

Contrary to popular belief, the queens heart is tender.  Her love for the king is unquestionable and she can offer compassion to those who would quench their fear and ask her guidance.

This is when the saying "Never judge a book by its cover" comes into action.  We look at the queen here, and she looks quite hard, almost as if she thinks she is above us in the pecking order.  What we need to remember is that no-one is above us, we are all equal no matter what, we all eat, drink and go the bathroom just like anyone else.

The Queens appearance at first glance is quite harsh, but as you take the time to look at her and you then start to see who she really is.  A kind hearted woman who would take the time to listen.  She wears dark colours as she wants to fade silently into the background, but she would weep, just as you would.

Appearances are always deceiving.  The heart sees what the eyes do not...  Open your heart to see what lies within another's soul, let yourself open up and be free, don't be scared to hold back, but just think carefully about what it is you want to say.  Take heed to write your words down, as words are often easier to write than to speak when it comes to those you care for and love with all your heart.
Let your inner self shine through, and although things may seem dark right now, you will start to shine.  It will take time, when you need to withdraw, withdraw, focus on you and then you will know when the time is right to move on.

Our second card is La Muerte.

This card represents the spirit in transformation.
There's unexpected changes ahead, maybe leaving a friendship behind, moving forward from a relationship.  A feeling of being immobilised, slow or even partial changes, it can even be the avoidance of an accident and sometimes, only sometimes can it be about actual death.

Now, As I look at this card, I see someone sleeping, in a stasis as a butterfly would., just ready to emerge feeling cool calm and collected in their thoughts and emotions.

This card is a sign of the change that is to come, finding your self wanting to make the change, maybe there is something that you want, but currently, it is making you feel sad and lonely.  Knowledge is often gained through sleep from your guides.  Once this knowledge is gained and you access it you can make the much needed changes in your life.

Our last card is Fire.  It's the element of action and energy, and represents the destructive forces of nature.  Small sparks can lead to bigger things, reckless actions can lead to conflict.

Think before you speak, don't be ruled by your emotions in anything that could cause hurt and upset.

Fire can be cleansing, often once the fire has burnt away the old, it makes way for new. Some seeds can not grow until they are in the middle of the fire and once it has died away, they grow tall and strong.

Let yourself imagine the warmth of the fire and the flames burning away what is no longer needed in your life.

Anyway, that's all for now, we're now watching Black Beauty for the 3rd time already..... good job I like it....

Have a good day.

Friday 2nd March

Good morning People

Hope you're all well.  What a lovely day yesterday, and it looks like it will be another nice one today.
I've got to go with my mum to Liverpool today.... god help me please..... She's driving......  :/

Anyway,  I'll let you all send some nice positive thoughts and calming ones my way lol.... meanwhile, I'll be on the Bach Flower remedy ;-)
Wicked aren't I?  That's me and my mum for you, we love to wind each other up.....

So, our first card today is the Queen of Wands.

Self-assured and with regal confidence, she embodies all the qualities a Queen should hold and with her smile, gathers many an admirer.

This queen carries her wand, her symbol of protection at one end, and majick at the other. As I look at the wand I see the end with the pentagram is weighted down, it feels like you are heavily protected at this time. The majick reminds me of smoke, and I want to say this lady is "smokin'" lol....

Appearing within the mist as if by majick, she appears in your life, if she's not already there.

Her masque compliments that of her dress and her dragon's wings.
Her smile is enigmatic, all knowing, and there is a softness that appears in her eyes and mouth. All that glitters is not gold though.

People often wear the masque because they want to be someone they're not.
Again, wear red and black today. Let majick into your life, and know that you are protected at this time.

When meeting someone new, don't let all your secrets out of the bag, make yourself appear mysterious to them, that way if they want to get to know you, they'll have to contact you, and get to know you slowly. ;-)

**********

Now, our second card is the Wheel of Fortune.

This card represents the spirit facing the fate.  We all have to accept what is coming our way, whether we like it or not.

Karma comes to us all,  big or small, old or young.  Sometimes we have to learn to accept the things that have happened, and that they were for a reason.  It is difficult and we must realise that it is only us who puts the barriers in our way.  We can change this, we can turn that wheel around, we can open the gates or climb the wall that holds us in.

The tide is changing yet again.  Where as before we were quietly in the background, yet again we come to the fore, now it is time to be noticed, to stand strong and not look down, but like the magician we need to hold our head up high.

Let us all start changing the way we do things.  Introduce something new, something fun, lighten the mood for another.  Accept what is happening right now, and that you can't change what has happened for what could of happened.  Change is coming, be ready.

**********

I've just decided to pull one of the Madame Endora's Fortune card as well....

We have The Spirit.  It actually ties in with our Queen.

The spirit is watchful and a protector, you're being influenced by higher powers, and although things have been hindered by setbacks, they have long term benefits.  Everything happens for a reason. ;-)

Again, red is the colour of the day today, wear some, carry some or just enjoy the colour when you see it....

So then, what do you all think of the Fortune card?  Want to see it again?  If you do, let me know, leave me a comment ;-)

Have a lovely day, and if you ever feel like you don't know your pathway in life, or feel like you don't fit in anywhere, why not pop a long to the forum... Coyote's Realm Forum  Everyone is welcome,we don't bite..... honest!!!

Bye for now

Thursday 1st March

Good afternoon everyone
Sorry I'm late today, but got stuff to do as well you know ;-)

Anyway, we're kicking of today with the Knave of Wands.

I want to say about having the courage of your convictions to go with what you feel is right.
Tiny, but mighty is this knave, he listens and then speaks to you.  What is it that you seek the answer to?  There are skeletons in closets, are you sure you're ready for this?  Look beyond the veil, look far beyond the window, connect with your inner dragon to gain the knowledge and wisdom, but are you courageous enough to do it right now, or will you wait till you are supported by others.

When you gain the knowledge, what will you do with it?  Are you going to use it to your best advantage, or are you going to store the information for a rainy day?   The choice is yours.

He's not afraid to speak his mind, or do what he thinks is right, ask yourself, Are you?

Our Second Card is the Chariot.  Now in this deck, it's about the triumph of the mind.    It's all about over coming adversity, conflicting influences, or even fleeing from reality.
The water signifies our emotions within our head right now, the boat is the vehicle which we negate the water or our emotions.  We can over come things when it comes down to it, we have to remain positive though.

The buildings makes it feel like we're hemmed in right now, with nowhere to go, the bridge again continuing the journey.  Now when you look at the card, does it feel like the boat is coming towards you or is it moving towards the buildings?

To me it looks like it's heading towards me,  I'm escaping from the horrors or the reality's of this realm and moving towards something fresh and new.

Have a great day

Wednesday 29th February

Right, just for your information, I'm now on Pinterest as well as Facebook, Twitter and god knows where....

Anyway,  the King of Wands came out today.....

At first, when we look at this card, it's quite fearsome.  Our King here looks angry, but then we see the anger can be used in other ways to fuel the fires of passion,  fuel the desirer to get things done,  burn the bridges that bind us to places or to people.

The red dragon has the connection to the earth and sleeps in Gaia's core.  He is powerful and mighty, but deep down it's because he has to be. Red is the colour of assertiveness, of passion and confidence, but it is also the colour of anger, and ferocity.

This is the one who can move between his world and ours.  As we look upon him, feel yourself invoke his power his ability and his flair.  Feel yourself grow with each step, with each look into his eyes.  Step out from your dwelling place and open up your wings.  Use the knowledge that you have gained from the king to flourish and grow, Let your wings unfold and let yourself be free.

If my kids saw this, they'd say it's their Nanna ;-) so I wouldn't be saying it's your in laws.....  but who here refers to the in law as a dragon?
Someone's getting rather steamed up over something, but you know something.... you're getting steamed up over nothing, it really isn't worth the energy.

The card from the Favole deck is The Moon.

Other messages with this card are deception, twilight, obscurity,, trickery, caution, warning, bad influence and slyness amongst other things.

Nothing is ever as it appears to be.  When you look at something in the glow of the moonlight, it never appears the same.  Is it majickal, is it mystical?  Caution is needed, whatever you feel.  Be aware of situations around you.  Don't let yourself be fooled by another persons lies or tricks.
You are wanting to connect fully, mind, body and spirit, but as yet the confidence to rid yourself of things that hinder you is not yet there.
Shy, but alluring, shining in the night, but there is something which holds you back.  In order to bloom like the flower in the picture, you have to let yourself be free, being the person you are, not the person others want you to be.
Let your awareness grow, call on the goddess for help. Let crystals be cleansed in the moonlight.

Tarot decks Discussion

Just a quick question, what would you like to see here?   Do you want the gothic cards or want something different?

Maybe a discussion?
Now, I've been thinking....  with Tarot, there are so many readers out there.  We've all got different decks.  Which decks do you like?
Are you drawn to the traditional style cards, your RW decks, or do you like the more modern decks?
What is it you like about them?  The colours, the images or something entirely different?
To be honest, I'm not much of a traditionalist, as you may of noticed ;-)
I like my Gothic cards, my dragons and animals and water coloured cards. I like the unusual, bit like me really ;-)
I've just ordered the Transparent Tarot by Emily Carding, so I'll introduce them soon.

For those of you who don't have cards, what sort of image do you like?   We all think of the death or tower card being scary, but if you look at the tower from the gothic tarot, it's beautiful.  It's bright and not at all 'omg' lol

What is it with reversed cards as well?  You'll notice I never bother with reversed meanings...  honestly, I don't think there's any need for them.  If something is going to happen then it will happen and it will come out in the cards.
Although I'll give you the meanings of the cards, I generally look at the pictures and connect with them that way.....

Let me know more about what you want to see.... or if you want to discuss it in more detail why not go to my forum.  Coyote's Realm Forum

Tuesday 28th February

Morning folks,

Today is going to be short and sweet.  Not had a very good night last night and not much sleep, so I'm shattered.  So once the cards are done, I am going to get my head down for a bit.... ;-)

Borne on the wings of love, passion and sensuality.  The ability to make good choices and of change.  Embrace the light and yet, beware the dark.

We all have the choice in whatever we want.  Learn which is best for you, but be aware of those who would try to lead you away from your own choices.

Although it is nice to work with "love and light" at the same time understand that there is a fine line between that and the dark.  The dark side is seductive and can draw you in, but having the knowledge beforehand is essential for making decisions.
In essence we are sensual beings.  Allow yourself to love and give your love freely, express your passionate side.  When it comes to the ones you love, tell them or show them how you feel.  Express your sensuality in whichever way you feel best fits you, be honest with yourself.
You choose, no-one else.

Our next card is Strength.

In this deck it represents the eternal spirit, able to overcome all obstacles.
It can represent determination, courage, conviction, energy, zeal, fervour, virility, resolution and physical abilities.  It can also be about pettiness, sickness, lack of faith and weaknesses.

Now as I look at this card today, I see the woods in the background of the picture.  What happens when you are lost, when you are scared? Do you run and hide or do you stand, brush yourself off and continue on your way.

We all have those moments of weakness when we're on our knees crying for that which we have lost, or that we can't see through the trees any more.  Now though we know we can see the pathway, it is lit up for us.  We will find a way through, no matter what, we just have to have the strength of character and have the courage of our convictions to carry on.

That's all for today, but feel free to leave a comment.
If you'd like to see some of the other cards I use, then you can find them here Robyn D Martland ~ Coyote's Realm

Take care, see you all tomorrow

Monday 27th February

Good morning ;-)

wow, is that the time?   11:15.....
Have you all had a good weekend?   I did, very relaxing.....  went to watch The Woman in Black. It wasn't bad, wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, but think the ending was a bit rubbish.... If you've seen it, what did you think?

So,anyway, time for the cards today.

Our first card out is the Wheel of Fortune.

In ancient chambers her destiny is revealed, the old ways are now left behind.  A new purpose is set in motion that allows her to see her path with clarity.

So, we all wonder what our path in life is, or what our purpose or role is.  Sometimes we know, sometimes we don't.  We have the key to finding out.  Forget that which has happened in the past, look now to the future.

How do you look at yourself? Do you see someone who is willing to work hard?  or do you see someone who has tried it, and given up?

This girl is looking at herself, she sees her future self, one where she has gained her wings , she has worked hard to get them, and now she knows what it is she must do in order to get there.
Reflect on the things you have done, if you've tried something that didn't work, did you just give up, or did you keep going, or did you change things?
Things will become clearer, give them chance.

**********

Our next card is Justice.

In the Favole deck the Justice card represents balance, as well as harmony, equity, virtue, honour, just reward, good intentions, advice, well-meaning actions and self satisfaction.

We all need balance within our lives.   It's not all about work, and it's not all about play..... just as it is not all about white or black.  There are always 2 sides to every story.  Everything has an opposite.
This card seems to be carrying on with a theme for me of late, which is about facing our fears.  We all fear the unknown and the things we can not see.  When we are balanced in life, and able to face our fears, then we are able to listen to others, give them advice, and also listen to others comments.
We are in tune with our body and our mind and our actions whether it is for ourselves or for another will give us the satisfaction we are looking for.

Be ready to listen to both sides of the story before jumping to conclusions, it will save on the exercise and the tears in the long run. ;-)

Well, here's to a lovely day.

See you all tomorrow
